Water Fun!

We got to use the much-loved water slide to celebrate the last day of Spring Break with the neighborhood kids on Friday. We had a blast....as you can see!

Please excuse the abundance of photos...I was having fun taking all these action shots and playing with my camera (but I still don't have my fancy camera...a girl can dream....)

Dancing Queen!

As you can see Kemi loves music!

But she's only 6 months old!!!

Yep here she is my little Kemi after climbing into the underneath part of her standing toy thingy!She was completely stuck!!! She is all over the place now - getting into everything and even running away from me when she knows I'm trying to pick her up - giggling the whole time! Oh boy will I have to get some energy to keep up with this little one!
Isn't she just so cute though!

Hairscapades!

We finally took the plunge and relaxed it - a big thank you to my friend Charnae for the hours of help she gave me with this! Her are some pics - all that's left is a hair cut! It is so much easier to take care of now and curls without getting too tangled, no more screaming on hair day!

She looks tired doesn't she - it took over two hours from start to finish!

What we've been up to lately...

Pretty busy right now, but thought I'd post some recent pictures. We're back at school, but I'll post about our first week at the weekend when I have more time...

Great idea!

My friend Heather posted a great idea for helping children keep their room clean here...
I was inspired today, and on what I can only put down to an end-of-pregnancy-nesting-burst-of-energy I cleaned up the kids rooms and took photos! I plan on creating my own little book for the girls to help them see what I want their room to look like!

Lola was very happy that I cleaned up of course, but also couldn't see where her cleaning was not coming up to par - once she gets the book in hand, I am sure that she will begin to see where she can make improvements!
